Baltimore is a city that has been in many headlines recently, mainly for the riot following the death of Freddie Gray. Many people have not taken into account that the riot in April of 2015 is a repetition of history. In 1968 the city of Baltimore was heavily affected by a similar riot. Baltimore never fully recovered from the riot of 1968. The city failed to put focus on fixing many of its damaging factors, such as poverty, discrimination and police brutality.
